WORKSHOPS
Our workshops are a chance to meet up with other writers and develop some work.
We aim to create a space that encourages discussion between hosts and participants, and where queer identities, ideas, and writing is prioritised.

Workshop 03
In this workshop, we consider what makes a compelling character.
How should we introduce them? Are they likeable? Who are we writing for?

Pre - Colonial Philippine Myths and World-building Workshop
Zoom 7 - 9pm
Monday 8th November 2021
Led by Lerah Barcenilla.
As a Philippine writer Lerah - author of The Same Old Storm - uses stories to breathe new life into mythical figures that were once well known in pre-colonial Philippine.
Lerah guides us through her favourite pre-colonial Philippine folklore, and we create our own superstitions and world-building mythology.
